Our Vision

Wright Field Scale Modelers' vision is to be the most relevant, helpful, and encouraging scale modeling organization in the Miami Valley.

Our Core Values

• Respect will be extended to all modelers and their work by all WFSM members both during WFSM events and modeling events external to WFSM.

• Accountability of the Executive Board and members serving in official capacities to WFSM general membership, IPMS Region IV, and IPMS/USA.

• Responsiveness of the Executive Board to concerns and issues raised by WFSM general membership, guests, and external parties.

• Integrity in our conduct of WFSM business, management of competition at WFSM-sponsored contests, and our participation in other competitions at local, regional, and national levels.

Our Objectives

• Establish Community among area modelers through monthly chapter meetings and other planned and ad-hoc events.

• Promote Growth of scale modeling in our area by reaching out to prospective and "wayward" modelers through Make-N-Take and Adult Building Course events on a regular basis.

• Encourage Continuous Improvement of our members' skills and confidence by sharing member experience, knowledge, and progress as integral parts of our monthly meetings through hands-on demonstrations and instruction and "show-and-tell" format.

• Showcase the Hobby to the greater Miami Valley through our annual show, WrightCon, and through local displays and exhibits.
